Refund & Dispute Policy
Last Updated: 10/09/2026
⚠️ Draft wording — pending administrator and professional legal review before publication.
1. Free Job Listings
Basic job listings are free of charge. As no payment is taken, no refund applies.
2. Paid Job Listings (Featured & Premium)
Featured ($99 inc. GST) and Premium ($199 inc. GST) listing payments become non-refundable once the listing is published and visible on the platform.
- If a listing has not yet been published (for example, where payment has not been successfully completed), no charge is applied.
- If you cancel a paid listing before publication, any amount paid will be refunded in full.
- Once published, the listing is considered delivered and the fee is non-refundable, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
3. Managed Shortlist
Managed Shortlist is a sourcing and screening service priced at $2,500 plus GST ($2,750 total) per role. Refund treatment depends on the stage of the assignment:
- Before scope approval: If you cancel before the scope has been approved by OnlineRecruitment, a full refund is available.
- After scope approval but before sourcing begins: If you cancel after scope approval but before sourcing has commenced, a refund may be available less any reasonable administration and setup costs already incurred.
- After sourcing has begun: Once candidate sourcing and screening have commenced, the fee is generally non-refundable, as the service has been substantially delivered, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
- Separately approved third-party expenses: Any separately approved third-party advertising, assessment or verification costs are non-refundable once incurred, as they are passed through at cost with your approval.
Managed Shortlist does not guarantee a shortlist, interview, offer, hire or continuing employment.
4. Managed Hiring
Managed Hiring is provided under a separate written agreement. No success fee is payable unless a candidate is hired, and any refund or replacement conditions are defined in that separate agreement.
5. Australian Consumer Law & Technical Failure
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not excluded, restricted or modified by this policy.
Where a clear technical failure on our part prevents service delivery, a refund or re-delivery will be considered.
6. Disputes
If you believe there is an issue:
- Contact us within 7 days of the transaction or the relevant event
- Provide full details of the issue
We will review and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
7. Chargebacks
Unauthorised chargebacks may result in:
- Account suspension
- Restriction from future use
